Fretz-Simonds has been building custom homes since 1990. The combined strengths of John Fretz and Bill Simonds provide today’s home buyer with a unique opportunity to build the home of their dreams.

Previously a Realtor in a well established, family owned real estate company, John Fretz listed and sold houses for 15 years. This background was beneficial when John decided to join forces with Bill Simonds to start a home building company. His background in real estate helped him to develop many insights into what amenities buyers are searching for and what really makes a house more desirable.

Bill Simonds came up through the ranks, starting as a house framer and moving on to become a subcontractor. In other words, he started from the ground up! With the wealth of knowledge he obtained, he became an independent homebuilder. At Fretz/Simonds, Bill concentrates on the building process, working on-site to personally monitor each phase of the construction process.

Personal involvement is a priority for Bill and John. The size of their company allows them to have a “hands-on” approach with their customers. They are in direct contact from the time the process begins until well after the customer moves into their new home. Their availability makes building a home a satisfying and fulfilling experience.
